"Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous... So two good things will result from this ministry of giving—the needs of (others) will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God. As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God."
1 Cor. 9:11-13

Mission Sunday is a quarterly event, where we gather to support and give testimonies of the missions we support here at Life Christian Church. It is part of our DNA to bring Christ to the world and we want to support those who do. Not only will the needs of others be met, but God will get the thanks. Join us to on Mission Sunday to be encouraged with what God is doing around the world and in our backyards and be ready to be apart of it... the word of God is clear, that when we help or give to others that God himself receives it as though it were done to him.

Here are some of the missions that we are supporting here at LCC.

Living Waters International

Their slogan says it best..."Providing a cup of water in Jesus' name" Visit www.water.cc to find out more about Living Waters International.

COCAMS (Communion of Cameroon Saints)

COCAMS Foundation endeavors to actualize the claims of the Gospel by being practical and relevant in the target communities outside the walls of a local church.  Second, they also consider their operations not competitive to that of the local church but complementary to their purpose.

Whom they Serve

1. The destitute without means and resources for good education

2. The rural dwellers without practical training for gainful employment

3. Missionaries and church workers in rural and other areas short of good social facilities

such as portable water, electricity, medical healthcare institutions and schools – for a better livelihood.

4. The unemployed in towns and cities.

5. Pastors and church workers with limited ministerial skills and training.

MATRIX HUMAN SERVICES

THEIR MISSION? BREAK THE GENERATIONAL CYCLE OF POVERTY GRIPPING THE CITY OF DETROIT.

Matrix is committed to the city of Detroit. We promise to continue our march working with everyone

who enters our doors, ensuring they have food, clothing, shelter, an education, a job and hope for tomorrow. By implementing our Transition to Success (TTS) model into the lives of youth, adults, and families, we offer a real path to independence….not just a hand out but a strong and reliable hand up.

Our march started in 1906 by the League of Catholic Women. 105 years later, Matrix Human Services

continues to fight poverty, heartbreak and hopelessness with never-ending passion.

Poverty is a disease plaguing our community. Become a part of the solution. One person can make a

difference….that person can be you!
